The Enquirer-Journal Freshman Male Athlete of the Year Award  

The Wingate University Athletic Department is very appreciative to the Enquirer-Journal for their support of all our athletic endeavors. We are especially thankful for their willingness to support the Freshman Female and Male Athlete of the Year awards.

Jayce Watson, cross country

Jayce Watson – Watson was the SAC Freshman of the Year in 2005. He was a second team All-SAC selection. Week-in-and-week-out, he was Wingate’s top runner.
