Sean Barnette - Sean Barnette earned the team co-MVP award for his performance this year for the Wingate University basketball team. Barnette, a sophomore forward/guard, led the Bulldogs by averaging 18.8 points per game. The first-team All-South Atlantic Conference honoree also pulled down 6.9 rebounds while shooting 49.4 percent from the floor and 75.9 percent from the free throw line. Barnette was awarded the MVP of the South Atlantic Conference tournament as the Bulldogs won the event and earned an automatic bid to the Division II NCAA tournament.
Bryan Grier - Bryan Grier earned the team co-MVP award for his performance this year for the Wingate University basketball team. Grier led the nation in blocked shot this year averaging 4.9 blocks per game. The sophomore forward/center also averaged 12.3 points and 7.7 rebounds. The Bulldogs earned an automatic bid to the Division II NCAA tournament this season after they won the South Atlantic Conference tournament championship. Grier was named to the All-SAC tournament team.
