Ben Clark - Wingate University junior defensemen Ben Clark was honored with the co-MVP award as a member of the Bulldog soccer team. Clark scored two goals and had one assist on the year. Clark was also named to the second-team All-South Atlantic Conference men’s soccer team. In the 2005 season, Wingate compiled a 12-8-2 overall record.

Robert Dawson - Wingate University senior forward Robert Dawson was honored with the Most Valuable Player award as a member of the Bulldog soccer team. Dawson scored nine goals and led the Bulldogs with nine assists. The second-team All-South Atlantic Conference honoree tied for the team lead in points with 27. Wingate compiled a 12-8-2 overall record.
