Rebecca Brezovec led the Bulldog volleyball team to a share of the SAC regular season championship and a SAC tournament championship during her senior campaign. Brezovec registered a team-high 409 kills during the season, good for 3.97 kills per game. Brezovec will graduate from Wingate with a degree in Sociology.

Brezovec possesses a perfect 4.00 GPA. Her list of accomplishments includes Housing Assistant (3 years); Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity; Presidential Ambassador; Leadership Fellows; Peer Mentor; Peer Tutor; Four-year volleyball student-athlete; 2006 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America® volleyball first team (College Division); Academic All-America® of the Year in volleyball for the College Division; Was the 2006 South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year; A two-time All-SAC middle blocker; Won the SAC Scholar-Athlete Award for volleyball for the second time in 2006 (the SAC Scholar-Athlete Award is a prestigious honor given to only one student-athlete in each of the league’s 14 sports); also 2005 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America® volleyball selection (college division); Up ‘Til Dawn Service Project, Hospice Volunteer.
