Beth Kirkham

Beth Kirkham was honored as a member of the 2007 South Atlantic Conference women’s golf first team. Kirkham was a repeat member of the All-SAC first team. Kirkham had nine top-20 finishes in nine events this season. Also, she finished in the top-ten on six occasions. In addition, her 79.55 scoring average led Wingate this season. Kirkham placed tied for fourth in the recent Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament in Hickory, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team. Kirkham shot a 74 in the second round of the J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate to help the Bulldogs to the team crown. Her two-day total of 155 placed her fifth individually and on the All-Tournament team. The senior’s best overall finish in the 2006-07 season came in the Anderson College Invitational. Kirkham finished tied for third place and her 155 total positioned her two strokes behind the medalist and on the All-Tournament team for the event. A Marketing major, she is active in the Alpha Xi Delta sorority.
