Lee
Oxendine was 3-6 in 14 starts for the Bulldogs in
2007. He had a 5.63 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 62 1/3
innings pitched.
Oxendine
did not lose a game during his entire Scotland High
School career. Oxendine had a 13-0 career pitching
record with a nifty 1.10 career ERA for head coach
Tommy Britt and the Highlanders.
As a junior, Oxendine was All-Mid-Southeastern
Conference, All-Region and Scotland’s Most Valuable
Pitcher. He played three sports for the Highlanders,
seeing time in football and soccer as well. Lee Oxendine
is the son of Freddy and Christine Oxendine. |
