Austin Sherron was a two-year captain on the East Carteret High School baseball and basketball teams. He was
the baseball team’s Most Valuable Player his junior and senior year. He was also the basketball team MVP his
senior year, and soccer MVP his sophomore year. Sherron was an all-conference and all-state baseball player his
senior year. He led his team to the state title in 2006. Sherron led the team in strikeouts and ERA his senior year.
Born on June 23, 1988, Austin is the son of Scott Sherron and Sharon Yeomans. He is a Sports Management major.
