In his
sophomore campaign, Blair Troutman batted .311 in 2007
with 13 doubles and two home runs. He drove in 25 runs
and scored 26 in his 42 games for the Bulldogs this
season. Troutman held a .290 batting average in SAC play
with three doubles, 14 RBI and both of his home runs
coming in league games.
Blair
Troutman had a .276 batting average in 27 games in his
freshman season. The 6-0, 200-pound catcher had a .355
batting average in SAC games. The Bulldogs held a 3-3
record when Troutman got the start at designated hitter.
He batted .435 when slotted as the DH.
Troutman graduated in the
top 10 of his class at Concord High School. On the
baseball diamond, Troutman played four years of varsity
ball. He was named to the all-conference team twice. He
was all-state as a junior and received the team MVP
award as a senior. On the gridiron, Troutman was an
outside linebacker, defensive captain and
all-conference, all-county as a senior during Concord’s
3A state championship season. Blair is the son of
Keith and Janet Troutman. |
