Anthony Green,
Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Anthony Green enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Bulldog men’s basketball team in the fall of 2007. Most recently, Green spent a year at Binghamton University (his alma mater) as assistant men’s basketball coach. During his time on the Binghamton staff, Green participated in all aspects of the Bearcat program. He counseled team members and served as a liaison between the Bearcat program and the Binghamton faculty and administration. Green also was involved in all phases of recruiting. Green also spent one year as a family life specialist for the Children’s Home of Wyoming Conference in Binghamton. He provided on-going supervision of youngsters from the ages of eight to 16 during program hours. Green acted as a mentor for the children and helped teach team building skills. On the court, Green spent a year in Europe playing professional basketball. He played for the Helsingborg Pearls (Helsingborg, Sweden) and the Oberwalterdorf Comets (Oberwalterdorf, Austria). Green was an active volunteer, helping children at local recreation centers and schools. Green earned a B.S. degree in Human Development from Binghamton University. He was a basketball letter winner for the Bearcats. Green has an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Gloucester County College. |
