High School: Demario Mattox was the captain of his high school basketball team all four years, two at Franklin County and two at Bassett high School. He was an all-conference performer, led his team in steals and assists, and led the team to two consecutive conference titles. Mattox averaged 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals per game his senior year in high school. Born on April 28, 1987, DeMario is the son of Kenneth Brown and Penni Mattox. He is a Physical Education major.
