The Wingate University women’s tennis team was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to go to Orlando, Florida to play tennis for our Spring Break trip. Each day, we competed against a different team. The competition helped us learn and experience various things in every match. 

The Florida trip was a great chance for everyone as a team to experience great bonding time! Both the men’s and the women’s tennis teams are closer than ever; there is great support among everyone.

After the match for each Spring Break day was finished, we all got to do different things together as a team. One night we went out to eat at a nice restaurant, then went and played miniature golf. We also had the opportunity to attend an Orlando Magic basketball game.

The most fun night of the entire trip was when we had to put on a talent show the last night in Florida. Of course, the women ruled the show, with exceptional interpretations of each one of the men, including Coach Cabana!  Everyone had an amazing time in Florida. I think each person was able to take away something from the trip, including great wins for both teams to close out the week!
