Phillip Baker ran his best 8K time of 2006 in the
season opening Queens University of Charlotte
Invitational (35:31). Baker competed in five
events in the ’06 season for the Bulldogs.
Baker
joined the Bulldog runners as a junior. Baker is a
graduate of Oakland High School in Iowa. While at
Oakland, Baker was a member of the football,
wrestling and track teams. Philip Baker and his
wife Kathy are expecting their first child.
In addition, Philip has a stepson (Bradley, 19)
and a stepdaughter (Megan, 17). They reside in Charlotte.
