Jennifer Bossi posted her best 5K time of the year in the
Erskine Invitational, where she finished 21st with a time of
22:35. Her best 6K time of the season was at the Pre-National
meet, where she finished with a time of 26:57.
Bossi was an All-Conference selection for her performance in the
2004 and 2005 cross country seasons. As team captain of her
cross country and indoor track teams, Jennifer left Bristol
Eastern HS with two cross country conference titles (2004,
2005) and one indoor track conference title (2005). She
eclipsed the 22 minute barrier for the 5K by posting a time of
21:53 during her cross country season. Playing either second
base or outfield for the Bristol Eastern softball team, Jennifer
contributed to a 23-2 season, good enough to be named the
Connecticut state runner-up. Jennifer is the daughter of John
and Darlene Bossi (Bristol, Conn.). She plans to enter into
the field of Athletic Training.
