Ashley Hubbard was a 2006 All-SAC performer, finishing 11th in
the Food Lion SAC meet with a time of 20:50. She ran her best 5K
time of the year in the Erskine Invitational, where she finished
third overall with a time of 20:35. Hubbard ran her best 6K race
of the year at the Pre-National meet (25:13)
Hubbard was a member of the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll in
2005. Her fastest 5K time of the 2005 season was 20:52 at the
Eye Opener Invitational. Hubbard clocked a 20:59 5K at the Food
Lion SAC championships. She recorded a 26:51 6K at the Wingate
Invitational (Sept. 18).
Hubbard was an All-County, All-Conference and All-Region runner
at Sullivan Central High School. Her team won its conference and
finished second at states twice each during her career. She was
captain of the cross country and track teams two years each as
well. Hubbard was a member of the National Honor Society, Math
and Science Honor Society, Beta Club and Principal’s Honor Roll
while attending Sullivan Central. Ashley is the daughter of
Charles and Pamela Hubbard. She is majoring in
Biology.
