Jack Masters ran his fastest time of 2006 at the
Hagan Stone Park XC Classic. He ran a 28:29 8k
time. His best 10k time was a 36:55 at the Wingate
Invitational.
Masters was an
All-Conference selection in both track and cross country while
at Parkwood High. As captain of the Parkwood cross country team,
Masters was selected as the team’s MVP in both his junior and
senior year. Earning the honors of Most Improved Player during
his sophomore track season, Masters would achieve the title of
Most Valuable Player during his senior campaign. Jack also
helped the track team to a conference championship and later an
appearance in the State Meet. Jack is the son of Jack and
Cheryl Masters. Jack will be enrolled in Wingate’s
School of Pharmacy.
