Lindsey Roycroft recorded her best 5K time at the Hagan Stone
Park Cross Country Classic, where she finished 41st with a time
of 21:23. She finished 21st at the Queens University of
Charlotte Invitational to start the season. Her best 6K time of
the year was a 26:17 at the Pre-National meet.
Roycraft recorded her fastest 5K time of the 2005 season
with a 21:00 at the Citadel Invitational. In the Food Lion SAC
championships, she posted a 21:31 5K time. She did not race in
either of the 6K events during her freshman season.
Roycraft was an All-County runner at Westminster Academy. While
at Westminster, she was a two-time captain of the cross-country
and track teams. She received letters in softball, cross
country, track, swimming, and soccer during her athletic career
at Westminster. She is the daughter of Tom and Jan
Roycraft. Lindsey’s sister Loran swims for the University of
North Florida.
