David Sanctis ran his best 8k time of 2006 at the
Queens University Invitational
(28:45).
His best 10k time
was 38:36 at the Wingate Invitaitonal.
David
Sanctis was a two year letterman in both cross country and track
at South Mecklenburg High. David was anointed the title of best
first year runner his junior season at South Mecklenburg.
Sanctis would then finish his high school running career as an
All-Conference selection after placing 61st in the
NC4A State Meet, en route to being named the team’s Most
Improved runner after his senior season. David achieved many
academic accolades at South Mecklenburg as a member of the
National Honor Society, the Beta Club, and graduated with a 4.0
GPA. David is the son of Thomas and Teresa Sanctis.
