Janice Shelton
ran her best 5K race in the first meet of the season, finishing
28th at the Queens University of Charlotte Invitational with a
time of 22:00. Her best 6K time was at the Pre-National meet,
where she finished with a time of 27:10.
Shelton was a member
of the Souderton Area Senior High lacrosse and field hockey
teams. She was a member of the National Honor Society
at Souderton. As a senior, she was the captain and defensive
player of the year for her lacrosse team. Janice Shelton is the
daughter of Earl and Debbie Bulgier (Harleysville,
Pa.). She is majoring in Communications.
