Paul Testa ran his fastest 8k time of the 2006
season at the Hagan Stone Park XC Classic where he
ran a 27:44. He established a new career-best 10k
time of 34:34 at the NCAA Division II Regionals.
Testa ran his
fastest 8K time of the 2005 season at the UNCP Invitational
(26:50). Testa shaved four minutes from his personal best 10K
time at the NCAA regionals.
Testa won letters in indoor and outdoor track as well in cross
country while at South View High School. Testa was the captain
of all three teams. He was All-Region and All-Conference runner
his junior and senior year. He helped his team win the 4A NC
State Cross Country Championship in 2003, placing 16th in the
event. Testa is the son of Robert and Cynthia Testa.
