Tyler Johnson was third on the team with 66 total
tackles (20 solo, 46 assists) in 2006. Johnson had
seven tackles for loss, one sack, one interception
and two quarterback hurries in his 11 games. In
2005, he recorded 16 tackles (eight solo, eight
assists) and broke up two passes. At Hickory High
School, Johnson played football for coach John
Worley. He led his high school team in tackles
and interceptions. Johnson also achieved honor roll
and all-academic status for four years during his
high school career. |
