Cam LeGrand was selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III football first team in 2006. A regular on the SAC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, LeGrand and the Bulldog O-line helped Wingate’s passing game rank first among SAC teams (and eighth in NCAA Division II) at 273.8 yards per game. He was a two-time co-captain at Northwest Cabarrus High School. In addition to his football skills, LeGrand won 31 wrestling matches as a senior at Northwest.
