Tripp Smith brings much versatility to his role on the Wingate offensive line. Last year, the Bulldog offense was tops on the SAC charts (and eighth in NCAA Division II) with 273.8 yards per game. Also, the Bulldogs were listed second in the SAC in total offense per game with 342.7 yards per game last year. Smith helped Crest compile a record of 26-4 during his junior and senior years. The Chargers won the state 3AA title in 2003 and 2004. Smith was an All-Conference selection during his Crest career.
