Philip Thomas graduated from Milton Hershey High School. He was a letter winner in football, wrestling and baseball. He was a second team All-Conference selection his senior season. During his career, Milton Hershey won division championships in football and wrestling. Thomas was a district qualifier in wrestling. Also, he was a Mid-Penn Capital Division All-Star team pick in baseball. Thomas was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Milton Hershey.
