2005-06: John Palermo turned in several solid rounds for the Bulldogs as a true freshman. He tied for 25th at the Jack Shadwick Invitational (Oct. 24-25) with a two-day total of 156 (79-77). Palermo had six rounds in the 70s, including a season-best 74 at the Elon/Sea Trail Invitational on Sept. 24. He carded a 76 at the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate (April 1). Palermo is a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. On the season, Palermo averaged 80.92.

High School: Palermo was a three-sport star at Warrensburg Central High School in N.Y. He was captain of both the golf and tennis teams, as well as a member of the basketball team at Warrensburg Central. Palermo was the team MVP and all-conference selection in both golf and tennis. Born January 5, 1987, John is the son of John and Teresa Palermo. He is majoring in Business.
