Bob
Chinn
led the NCAA Division II in
ground balls per game in 2007. He also added 12 points
on seven goals and five assists. The Bulldogs’ leading
face-off man, Chinn was named to the all-conference team
as its top specialist. He will once again be asked to
take the majority of this year’s face-offs, but he will
also be asked to play a much bigger role on offense.
Chinn has worked very hard on his dodging and shooting.
He enters the season running with the first midfield
unit.
High
School: Chinn attended Lake Norman High School and
played for Coach Chris Diamond at North
Mecklenburg High School. He was a two-time
all-conference pick and a participant in the Queen City
Top 50 all-star game.
Personal: Robert Eugene Chinn III…born May 21,
1986…son of Joanne and Bob Chinn Jr.
