Angus Derbyshire returned from a serious knee injury to play in eight games in 2007. He finished fourth on the team with 1.5 goals per game. Derbyshire enters 2008 as the Bulldogs’ starting crease attackman. He has developed the ability to be in the right place at the right time. In addition, Derbyshire continues to improve his finishing skills. The coaches anticipate a break-out season now that he is back to full-strength.

A knee injury caused Derbyshire to miss his initial season. He is completely healed. Derbyshire will be the first substitute for the Bulldogs at attack. He possesses the size and ability to be a major contributor on offense.

High School: Derbyshire led his area in goals, assists and points his senior season playing for his father Bill Derbyshire at Catoctin High School. He was named All-County and All-Conference as a junior and a senior. Derbyshire earned first team honors on both teams his senior season.

Personal: Angus William Derbyshire was born May 29, 1987, the son of Myra and Bill Derbyshire.
