Mark Hodsdon returns to the Bulldog line-up after missing all but two games in 2007 with a knee injury. He will run with the first midfield unit after a strong fall season. An outstanding defender, Hodsdon is also one of the team’s best wingmen on face-offs. He continues the long line of outstanding two-way midfielders to play at Wingate University. Hodsdon was elected as a team captain by his teammates.

High School: Hodsdon played for Coaches Scott Sharp and Brock Lenard at Hilton Head High School. He was named All-America, all-state and MVP of the Virginia state tournament his senior year. In addition, he was selected to play in the USLacrosse Senior Showcase. Hodsdon was a high school teammate of fellow Bulldog Clay Westbrook.
