Ryan
Otterblad had a
break-out season in 2007 as he finished third in the
Deep South Conference with 2.4 goals per game. He was
fifth with 3.4 points per game. His outstanding play
earned him all-tournament honors in the Bulldogs’ run to
their first ever tournament championship. Otterblad will
once again be counted on to carry a heavy load on the
offensive end of the field. His extra year of experience
should help increase his assist numbers. Otterblad will
also be an important member of the team’s extra-man unit
once again this season.
High
School: Otterblad was a three-time team MVP and
two-time captain at Forest Park High School where he
played for Coach Todd Boward. During his high
school career, he was named first team all-district
three times, all-region three times, Washington Post
all-extra team three times and Potomac News all-area
team three times. Otterblad was also the District Player
of the Year.
Personal: Ryan Michael Otterblad…born April 25,
1987…son of Margaret and Michael Otterblad.
