John Simpson saw action in seven games for the Bulldogs in 2007. A solid athlete with good speed and a hard shot, he will be looked to as an important member of the team’s clearing efforts. As he continues to gain experience, Simpson may also see his offensive opportunities increase. He is also a member of Wingate’s cheerleading team.

High School: Simpson played at Lafayette High School for Coach Dan Mullen. He was a high school teammate of fellow Bulldog Dan Cook.
