David
Suthers had one of
the best seasons in NCAA Division II in 2007. He allowed
only 7.94 goals per game while stopping 58% of the shots
he faced. Those numbers rank first and second,
respectively in the conference and fourth and seventh in
the country. Suthers will again be the leader for the
Bulldogs’ defensive efforts this season. His hard work
has also improved his capabilities in clearing
situations. Suthers’ outlet passes will once again be a
key to the transition game that sparks many of the
team’s scoring opportunities.
High
School: Suthers attended Osbourn Park High School
and played for Coach Kevin Marsh. Suthers was
named all-district MVP, Washington Post Potomac Team MVP
and All-America his senior year.
Personal: David Allen Suthers…born February 15,
1986…son of Serena and Thomas Suthers.
