Stephen Torkington’s first full year in the midfield proved to be a productive one as he finished fourth on the team in both goals and points in 2007. He saved his best play for the end of the year as his play earned him DSC tournament MVP in the Bulldogs’ push to their first conference championship in school history. A strong dodger with a hard shot, he will work with the first midfield unit once again this season. Torkington will also be an important part of the team’s man-up efforts. His experience in big games will be vital as the Bulldogs will rely on him to provide leadership during his senior campaign.

High School: Torkington played for Coach Alex Cade at Coronado High School. He was  a three-time all-league performer. In addition, he was twice named all-county and all-state.
