Lee Minton scored two goals in 2006 from his defensive position. Minton scored both his goals against conference opponents, including the match winner against Newberry in the first round of the Food Lion SAC tournament.

Minton started in 21 of 22 matches for the Bulldogs as a true freshman. Minton contributed five points during 2005. Minton joined the Bulldogs after a solid career at Charlotte Catholic High School. Minton was a four-year varsity soccer team member for head coach Gary Hoilett. A senior team captain, Minton was a member of three state championship teams and four conference titlists. In 2004, Minton and his Cougar defensive mates had 21 shutouts. The team had 20 shutouts in 2003. Minton made All-Region twice and All-Conference three times. Minton also played basketball at Catholic. Lee Minton is the son of Tim and Theresa Minton.
