Wingate University Soccer Legends

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University associate athletic director and director of soccer Gary Hamill announces the Bulldog men’s and women’s soccer programs will hold the inaugural “Soccer Legends” weekend October 5-7 on the Wingate campus. The “Soccer Legends” match will be played on Friday night (Oct. 5) at 7 p.m. at the Wingate Soccer Complex.

The “Legends” match will be the first event of the weekend. An optional round of golf will be scheduled on Saturday morning (Oct. 6). Saturday’s events also include the Bulldog football team taking on Brevard College at 1:30 p.m. In addition, there will be a soccer doubleheader on Saturday evening with the men's soccer team hosting Brevard at 5 p.m. and the women hosting Mars Hill at 7 p.m.
