2007: Kelsey Emig played a solid shortstop for the Bulldogs in her freshman campaign. She started 30 games at short. Emig batted .253 in 91 at-bats in 2007. She had one double, three RBI, 14 runs scored and one stolen base.

PERSONAL: Emig played shortstop and outfield for coach Marie DiCecco at Downingtown East High School. Emig was a three-sport letter winner for the Cougars. She was a two-time All-County selection in softball, as well as a Coaches Award recipient in her senior season. In the classroom, Emig graduated with honors. She was a member of the National Honor Society. Kelsey is the daughter of James and Julie Emig. Emig made the Dean’s List in the Fall of 2006. She is majoring in Athletic Training.
