2006-07: Daniel DeFrancisco was a member of the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 800 free relay teams that gained all-conference laurels. The 800 free relay team won the conference championship and set a school record.

HIGH SCHOOL: DeFrancisco was a member of the swimming and water polo teams at Naperville Central High School in Illinois. In 2005, DeFrancisco was the Colombian national champion in the 200 IM. Daniel is the son of Ramiro and Sonia DeFrancisco.
