2006-07: Lara Golesorkhi was an all-conference performer in the 50 free and 100 fly. She was on the all-conference 200 and 400 Free relay, as well as the 200 and 400 Medley relay. She was also an All-American in the 100 Fly, 200 and 400 Medley and the 200 Free relay. Golesorkhi was the conference champion in the 100 Fly.

HIGH SCHOOL: Golesorkhi received honors for excellent Academic and Athletic Performance from Wirtemberg Gymnasium in Germany. Golesorkhi took first place in the 50 and 100 Butterfly at the South German Championship. She won the 50 Butterfly at the German Championships, while placing third in the 100. At Wingate, Golesorkhi is a member of Phi Eta Sigma and the International Club. She also does volunteer work for UCAN. Lara is the daughter of Homayoun and Ulrike Golesorkhi. She is majoring in Sociology and Psychology.
