2006-07: Vencl Was on the 200 Medley relay team that finished second at the BGMC Championships. She finished ninth in the conference championships in the backstroke with a time of 1:02.20. Vencl played a key role in the backstroke and IM events throughout the season, helping the team finish second in the conference and 11th in the nation.

HIGH SCHOOL: Samantha Vencl was captain of the Notre Dame Cathedral Latin swimming team in her junior and senior seasons. Vencl was a four-year letter winner for the Lions. She was a two-time All-American. In addition, Vencl was a 16-time state qualifier, nine-time All-Ohio and six-time USA sectional team. Vencl was the team MVP in her senior season. Samantha is the daughter of David and Beth Vencl.
