2006-07: Ashley Keefer
went 5-12 for the Bulldogs in singles play, while going 7-13 in
doubles play. Keefer played most of the season as the number six
singles player, while picking up a win in her only performance
as the number four player. She racked up four doubles wins while
pairing with Brittany Ruffner.
2005-06:
Keefer
went 5-1 in singles for the Bulldogs in her freshman season.
Keefer also picked up one doubles victory during the 2005-06
season. Also, she is a peer mentor, treasurer of the women’s
lacrosse club and a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority.
High
School: She was a
successful three-sport athlete at Northwest High School. She
played tennis four years for head coach Mike Krawczel. In
2004, Northwest won the Division 2 tennis championships. A
two-year team captain, Keefer won the team most improved award
two seasons. In addition to her tennis exploits, Keefer played
lacrosse and ran track at Northwest. She was a member of Minds
in Motion and the National Honor Society at Northwest. Ashley is
the daughter of Jeff and Mary Keefer.
