2006: Chelsea Cancelliere played in 74 games for the Bulldogs in her first year. The freshman outside hitter also showed some versatility as she played a few games as a libero. She also acted as a specialist in serving. In her 74 games she had a serving ace average of 0.53 per game and 1.88 digs per game. Cancelliere is a member of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Sport Science fraternity.

High School: A 5-11 outside hitter, Cancelliere earned team MVP honors while leading her Council Rock High School South team in kills. CRHS South earned a conference championship and a number eight ranking in Pennsylvania during Cancelliere’s career. She was the Kiwanis and Courier Times Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. Cancelliere also played outside hitter for Xceleration Volleyball Club.

Coach Collier: “Chelsea was a pleasant surprise and gave us more than we expected last season as a freshman. She established herself as one of our best passers and servers. She played a key role as our primary defensive specialist. This year, she will be an ever more important player with her changed role as a defensive specialist.”
