2006: Ashley Craven played in 61 games and notched 34 kills and 16 digs in her second season in the blue-and-gold. She also acted as a serving specialist, averaging 0.31 service aces and 0.56 kills per game. Craven received the Coaches Award this past fall for her constant work ethic.

2005: Craven played in 12 matches for Wingate as a true freshman. She tallied nine kills and seven blocks.

High School: Craven was a driving force behind the success of the Pinecrest High School Team that finished third in the state for coach Barbara Fox. As a senior captain, Craven was All-Conference and All-Region. She followed her high school season as an outstanding player with the FAVA (Fayetteville Area) club team. Craven was a member of the National Honor Society in high school. Ashley is the daughter of Stephen and Michelle Craven.

Coach Collier: “Ashley is a well-conditioned athlete who consistently gives her best effort every day. She gained valuable experience this past spring playing as our number one middle hitter. Ashley will compete for playing time at the position this fall.”
