High School: As a co-captain with fellow Wingate signee Heather Myklebust, Gale helped lead her Fort Bend Austin HS team to a 5A Houston Area district title. Gale was an honorable mention All-State selection.

Gale played club volleyball for Club Texas. Gale’s Club Texas team was number one in Texas in both 16-and-under and the 17-and-under divisions. In addition, Club Texas finished in the top 20 nationally in the open division at Junior Olympics in 2005 and 2006. Gale was selected GCVA Beach Volleyball Player of the Year. She was also a member of the USA Lone Star High Performance Team.

Coach Collier: “Stormi will be a tremendous addition to our program as a highly skilled and athletic middle hitter. I believe that she will be an impact player right away. She has the ability to be an elite middle hitter in our conference. There are not too many middle hitters that are also skilled doubles players who can pass and play defense at a high level, so Stormi will be a very valuable asset to our team.”
