High School: Myklebust joins the Wingate family from the highly regarded Club Texas club program. Her Club Texas team was ranked number one in Texas in both the 16’s division in 2005 and the 17’s division in 2006. They finished in the top 20 in the open division of Junior Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2005 and Atlanta in 2006. She was co-captain (along with fellow Wingate freshman Stormi Gale) of the Fort Bend Austin HS team that won the Houston area 5A district title. She was an honorable mention All-State selection and a member of the USA Lone Star High Performance team.

Coach Collier: “Heather has a really bright future as an outside hitter. She hits with much power. She will be a welcomed addition to our offense. Heather is one of those players with a very competitive fire burning within her. She will add some power to our offense right away. She will likely develop into a strong leader as her career progresses.”
